Giving Bak Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing meals and supplies to our local community hospitals, first responders, food banks and churches across the southeast. We also come together after a natural disaster strikes to provide comfort through hot meals with Kindness, Empathy and Love. We understand the shock a community may experience and how overwhelming dealing with a disaster and its aftermath can be. We are honored to partner with local Churches in order to provide much needed meals to help with the “healing process”. Through our warehouse facilities in Albertville, AL and Shreveport, LA and with your donations and volunteer support, our organizations goal is to proudly provide the equipment and supplies needed to produce up to 40,000 meals over a 6-10 day period. What's Going On
GIVING BAK 2021
As of Sept 29, 2021
Giving Bak is currently Still deployed, although not in full Force, we are still meeting the needs after Hurricane IDA in South Louisiana. We were Very Proud of our First teams in on the Ground and serving the First Meal within 16 hours of the Storm making Landfall. Then 2 Days Later we had all of our Equipment and was running a Full Operation and we reached our object Goal of 40,000 meals with a Little Over 43,000 meals served in 6 days. Although that number is a amazing Number 43,000 compares nothing to the 5 Lives ( confirmed, or that we know of ) That turned their lives over TO GOD and was saved because of a Hot Meal. We Had a Amazing Host Church In Christ Community Church in Denham Springs Louisiana that knew the needs and with them as a Host Church we meet and exceeded all the needs.
